A local group has invited Jonathan Conricus—a former Israeli Defense Forces spokesman and current Senior Fellow at the FDD (an aggressively anti-Muslim fringe organization)—to give a talk at the Teton County Library here in Jackson.
To platform a man who has dedicated his entire career to spreading harmful and racist propaganda about Palestinians on behalf of the Israeli army—when millions of impoverished Palestinians in Gaza have been killed, wounded, or displaced by that same army over the past 10 months—is unconscionable.
We will be gathering outside the library on Monday evening to hold a peaceful vigil for the more than 15,000 Palestinian children who the IDF has killed since October 7, and to protest Conricus using our town’s library to spread his hateful message.
Please join us in standing in solidarity with the people of Palestine, with the Palestinian and Arab-American residents of Teton County, and with everyone in our community who wants to see an end to Israel’s horrific assault on Gaza.
